CEDIA

Jonathan Webster, Recruiting Manager of TierPM AV/IT Workforce Solutions, spoke at this year’s CEDIA Leadership Conference about the various strategies to attract and retain talent in the audio visual industry. Webster covered everything from tactics to finding the right employee to performing the right screening to ensure the candidate really is a good fit.

The conference welcomed a large audience of small business owners in the residential a/v industry looking to expand their knowledge on various best practices in the industry. This covered all types of companies from home technology installation to design, making it a well-attended event.

“The CEDIA conference brought together many organizations from around the country and provided them with next level information and a networking opportunity in a great city! I was impressed with the vision, passion and hunger for information from the managers and business owners there. I look forward to working with CEDIA and CEDIA members in the near future.” – Jonathan Webster, Recruiting Manger at TierPM

Along with covering how a business can best attract the candidates they are looking for, Webster also covered key ways for a company to retain that talent. Strategies such as maintaining company morale, offering education and certification opportunities, and mentoring.
