On a recent episode of The AV Life podcast, Maura Quinn and Tekeiya Jordan of TierPM sat down with Corey Moss, Convergent AV to discuss two very popular topics: Young Professionals and Diversity in A/V. The hosts were joined by wonderful guests, Charmaine Torruela – Global Services Manager at Verrex and Chairperson of AVIXA Diversity Council, Brandon Breznick – Assistant Communications Manager at Premier Mounts, and Josiah Way, Director of Multimedia Services at California Baptist University.
The conversation revolved around the experience of young professionals today in the Audio Visual industry, as well as how to bring in more interested young folks. Also, discussed were the inspiring initiatives of the AVIXA Diversity Council and how companies in the industry can begin to integrate new ways of cultivating more diversity.
